Hon. MLA Abdul Sattar Abdul Nabi
Former Minister, State of Maharashtra
I have been working day and night to ensure that the benefits of the various branches and courses run by our institution reach the poor and needy students. Not just in the taluka, but across the district, we are successfully running various branches ranging from primary to higher education. My entire executive board and I are constantly dedicated to ensuring that students from rural areas receive quality education.
When we began our journey in the field of education, we analyzed the geographical, social, and economic conditions of Sillod taluka. We realized that the educational infrastructure was minimal, and the poor students of the area were being deprived of learning opportunities. To address this, we endeavored to make arrangements for higher education in this region.
To ensure that hardworking students from rural areas shine not only at the district level but also at the state and national levels, the executive board of Adarsh Education Society and I have worked tirelessly. Recognizing the immense need for higher education, we successfully established Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Arts and Science College in the rural area of Sarola.
Previously, there was no proper system of higher education for students in the remote area of Sarola. Keeping this in mind, a senior college was established here to uplift the low levels of higher education caused by poverty and difficult circumstances.
Through my work in social service and politics, I am implementing various public welfare schemes to ensure the students of this area become educated. Education is a vital component of this vision, and to take it to a higher level, the institution is implementing various student-friendly schemes. I am always striving and committed to ensuring that these benefits reach every section of society, down to the very last stratum.
We had a dream that students from the grassroots of this area should receive high-quality education. For the fulfillment of that dream, the Principal, Professors, and non-teaching staff of the Sarola college have given me—and continue to give me—valuable support.
Thank you.”
