Scholarship and Fee Waiver Schemes
The institution provides various scholarship and fee waiver facilities for students. To avail of these benefits, students must ensure they submit all mandatory documents.
1. Available Scholarship Categories
- Backward Class Students: Government of India Scholarship Scheme.
- Minority Students: Minority Scholarship Scheme.
- Physically Challenged/Disabled Students: Special Scholarship Scheme.
- Tribal & Remote Areas: Special schemes for students from tribal, remote, and hilly regions.
- Merit-Based: Presidential Scholarship Scheme for students with exceptional academic achievements.
2. Required Documents (General)
The following documents must be attached to the scholarship application form:
- Academic Records: Attested copies of 10th and 12th-grade mark sheets (3 copies) and School Leaving Certificate (T.C.).
- Income Certificate: Current year’s income certificate of parents issued by the Tehsildar office.
- Caste Documentation: Attested copy of the Caste Certificate and a Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (for OBC category).
- Banking & Identity: Photocopy of Aadhaar Card and Bank Passbook (Nationalized Bank).
- Photos: Three recent passport-size photographs.
- Additional Documents (If Applicable):
- District Transfer Certificate for students from outside the district.
- Educational Gap Certificate if there was a break in studies.
- Affidavit regarding scholarship gaps if a break occurred while receiving benefits.
3. Category-Specific Requirements
- Minority Students: Must provide a Minority Status Certificate, Aadhaar copy, Bank Passbook, and 3 photos.
- Disabled Students: Must provide a Disability Certificate, Aadhaar copy, Bank Passbook, and 3 photos.
4. Application Guidelines
- Online Submission: Students must fill out the online application with extreme care. Incomplete or incorrect applications will not be considered.
- Eligibility for Minorities: A minimum of 50% marks is required to benefit from the Government of India Minority Scholarship.
- Submission Process: After applying online, a hard copy along with all required documents must be submitted to the college.
- Disability Scholarship: Application forms for this specific scheme must be obtained from the Social Welfare Department office and submitted to the college.
Important Note: Scholarship benefits are deposited directly into the student’s bank account. The college administration shall not be held responsible for any issues arising during this transaction process.
